An interesting game.
I think chelsea will be too much for the team from portugal however.
Should be a few goals in this one?

Went to the game - God it did rain - poxy game - i guess the players could blame the weather a bit - but if they are truthful - they were terrible on the night.

I have tried to stick up for Kalou nearly all his career at Chelsea. I honestly think he has it all - its just a matter of everything falling into place n becoming MUCH more consistant. Last night saw him try his heart out, but yet again he was poor. The manager is giving him alot of airtime over young Sturridge and I think after last nights performance, its time to switch them in order of preferance.

Porto very well organized - played some good football at times and could have scored a goal over the 90 mins without any complaints from me. Peter Cech was outstanding on the night.

One of the good things about Cech is when he makes a bad mistake or has a bad game - it never effects his confidence. At Stoke it was his fault their goal - last night he was the main reason we kept a clean sheet n managed to win.

The guy is amazing on his day, and Chelsea would be stuck without him. Shows good mentality does that though Tick, and always a major major bonus to have someone as strong as that.

Ouch - I have to say we at Chelsea were suprized at that result too. Atletico score alot of goals normally. Must have been a poor performance.
