A similar game to Red's Premier League challenge, but with a bit more detail...in line with a Premier League predictions thing I ran with some friends. I shall explain the scoring system first and if anyone thinks they can improve upon it, please let me know.

I will post the fixtures for each round as they come and you predict not just the winner but the score as well. The points are award as follows:

• Correctly picking the winner 1 point
  
• Correctly picking a draw 3 points
  
• Correctly picking the margin of victory 2 points
  
• Correctly picking the "home" teams score 1 point
  
• Correctly picking the "away" teams score 1 point
  
• Bonus for exact correct score 3 points

I will take the time to add up all the points for the scores people give me. If you do not want to submit scores round by round (ie game 1 of the groups, then game 2 after game 1s are finished etc) you can submit the scores for the entire group stage all at once. Of course, you will have to wait for the knockout games, when bonus points will be available for games going to extra time, penalties etc.

When I did this for the Premier League, we didnt have a joker like Red's game, because there are plenty of points available based on the accuracy of your predictions. If you think one should be included, let me know.

Fill these out as quick as you can. Of course, i dont mind if you do it round by round, week by week, or all at once.

Benefits of round by round of course, is that you get to make your decisions based on form etc. All you will need to do is copy and paste the ENTIRE fixture list into one post, and then keep editing it as you add more scores. Easy. And when knockout fixtures are decided, you can add them onto the end of the same post. That way, the thread will stay neat and tidy and by the time everyone has entered, the very last post at any time, will be the league table!!

Just try your best to get early entries in, even if it means simply filling in this weekends games straight away and then saving the rest for when you have some proper time to think.... thats what I shall do for Fridays games Will do my best to keep scores updated regularly.
