Ive done this a couple of times for projects in the past...and has worked.

we also now have our very own, facebook account.

the account is called simply "Talk Football-Forum"

ive joined a few groups related to football, ie...premier league etc...with over 1 million fans, so should have a bit of traffic in the next few days with a bit of luck..

We had set one up last year but maybe we didn't do it right.

I followed my email and the page on facebook has 13 friends. Who are these people and how come they haven't shown up here?

Checked the facebook page, now up to 17 Friends. Included a post from somebody called Neil Downward praising our forum. Have not seen him or any of the other friends outside of the few who are already members show up here.

Does anyone know this Neil Downward who posted there?

saw that post earlier. ill pop a link to the website on his page and with a bit he will join.
all it takes is a few people to see the link, plug it here and there...and should be busy

Keep in mind peoples facebook names are probably not the same as a forum nickname!
Great idea though, hopefully will see traffic!!
