No different but again its the referees job to get the decision right. Defoe might not have meant to handball it, could have been just bringing it down on his chest.
Its obvious that these extra officials behind the goals make no difference, just two more officials to miss the obvious incidents adding to the farce that is video technology.
Should be run like it is in cricket. Defoe handballs it, goes through and scores. The defender KNOWS its handball and quickly speaks to his captain who asks the referee to refer the incident to the 4th official. 1 minute later and its all cleared up. Free kick and the right decision is made.
The only negative for video technology that I have really heard, is that it will slow down our game.
So I ask you, is it worth slowing down the game to make sure decisions are right?
(And it cant slow the game more than Pedersons throw ins......yawn)
