| Great result, don't really think Valencia deserved to lose, but will take the United win. Valencia seemed the quicker team and more dangerous going forward, at least until Hernandez and Macheda came on. Good to have Rio and Vidic back together and with Carrick shielding the back four hopefully the leaking at the back will stop. Rafael had a very good game at right back and should be given a run in the team. Was expecting four points at this stage of the competition, a win over Rangers and a draw at Valencia, but the other way around is a whole lot better. _________________ |

| if i was a valencia fan/player i would feel sick. united robbed that game.
valencia were all over them
then goal was superb though i thought, macheda set it up well, and hernandez' first touch to set himself was quality, very tidy finish |

| I watched most of the game and thought United where shocking. Valencia paid them far to much respect n must be kicking themselves for not taking the game more to United.
Good finish by the midget thou |

| I though Valencia took the game to United and United sat back and and tried to catch them on the counter for 75 minutes. Whether that was the strategy or not, I don't know, but United looked better going forward once Hernandez and Macheda came on,and it did work. The result is all that matters but if Valencia had a striker who could have got on the end of some of those crosses, United would have been in trouble. _________________ |

| Thought we did well given the recent defensive shockers to keep a clean sheet. Went over there and came back with what we wanted. Thought it was a decent performance given that we were simply trying to be solid. We achieved that and stole a goal at the end. Nice one.
Wouldnt say we had a shocker, or were awful. Two goals in the last minute to everton is a shocker. Last minute points dropped to fulham is a shocker, being outplayed by bolton...shocker. Winning for the first time in 7 years in Spain, keeping a clean sheet in the process is not, no matter how the job got done. |

| I think some are being a bit overly critical of united. We came out with a victory AWAY against the team topping la liga...just to clarify are above barcelona and madrid...they can't be that bad! I think we held them well at the back, and played the right game considering the opposition and the venue. Good to see that Nani is still looking good on the wing and that when Berbatov can't bang 'em in, we have a kid who can get in to good positions, take a good first touch and slot a nice finish. I think that at Old Trafford we will play a different game...though I hope not too different, as I do like 3 points ;-) |

| Also thoughts on the Navarro "stamp" looked pretty bad to me, and intentional, but nothing seems to have been mentioned of it, from a player with a history too.... |

The commentators picked up on and also mentioned that he had a history of things like that. Not sure whether uefa use video evidence after the fact like they do in the Premier, but you are right there wasn't anything said in any of the paper reports._________________ |
