Can you see anyone else finishing in the top three this year?

The players that they can put on the pitch, have on the bench and the resources to buy another player before the window closes, or a couple more in January if needed. In early in the season to get carried away, but the gap between the top three and fourth, five and sixth is as big as I can remember.

Yes, Chelsea can win the premiership and we can also finish out of the top 3.

The club is in transition & I dont think the new manager or anyone else on the planet knows what our best 11 is.

To say we have been poor in the last 2 games is laughable.

Pathetic would be a better description.

I make City fav's as they have the most depth, but they have a manager unproven in our league and Chelsea have proved for a number of seasons the wrong man steering the ship means 2nd place is where the best squad docks. He might just make enough mistakes and have enough trouble makers in the dressing room to allow another club the biggest prize.

I really can't see Chelsea finishing outside the top three. There are some growing pains but AVB will find his preferred line up soon enough and Mata looks like he will be in it. Cech will be back the next game or the one after and I still expect Chelsea to add a player or two before Wednesday. Arsenal and Spurs look absolutely horrid and Liverpool for third just seems crazy.

Considering Liverpool dropped dramatically out of favour in a short space of time, they havent half been helped back into it by a few of the other clubs. Arsenal and Spurs have literally gifted them a position back in the top 4 if they fancy it. Good squad that is playing good football at the moment. Its there for them if they want it.

I am gonna go for City Utd Chelsea and Liverpool in the top 4...in the Champions league next season. If Arsenal dont spend in the next 3 days, perhaps they will be outside the top 6...though that is far fetched.

I think City will stumble at some point, and with their inexperience of winning titles, will crumble at that stage. Everyone does that once.

Its real early to be picking and the 3 league games have had plenty of space between them. Once the 3 games a week kicks in we will start to see younger players making more mistakes squad players getting pissed if they are not getting a chance and managers toying too much with the starting 11.

Liverpool, while having the weakest squad of the clubs trying for CL football, have a MASSIVE advantage by having no euro football.
