It's a strange one. I hope this isn't just another classless publicity stunt by City, trying to thumb their noses at United., because I really like Hargreaves.

For the last three years I had been hoping that he would recover from his injuries and get back to level he was when playing for England in the 2006 World Cup and for United the next season or so after that.

Hopefully he has recovered from his injuries and has gotten over the physiological effects of the injury and can play at a high level again. If he is truthful in saying he wants to play for England again, I don't think the choice of City is the right one, he won't play enough games with their strong line up. Would have made more sense to go to Villa, Spurs or Arsenal.

Im a bit gutted about this. Was looking forward to seeing him move to a club where he could rebuild his career and I could enjoy that.

Unfortunately, it will be hard to support him playing for City. Unlike Tevez though, there will be no bad feelings from the Utd fans toward a player thats just had so much bad luck.
