Never doubted they would feel they had enough to bring charges after a week ago asking for more ~ it will be very interesting what comes of this and extremely dangerous waters they are moving in.

The Crown Prosecution Service should never be involved in something that occurred on the pitch that happened in the heat of the moment. Terry if found guilty will have a criminal record and the repercussions to his career and especially post football career will be massive. It should have been handled in house by the FA.

This is a one off, there is no history of racism from Terry off the pitch that I know of. If there is enough evidence to find him guilty, suspend him for a few games and fine him. That's punishment enough.

This just seems to drag on and on. Court date set for the week of July 9th. Then the FA will have to decide if they are going to pursue it any further after the court verdict.

This can't help either of the players or teams involved and must be having some effect on their seasons. I can't help but think this should have been handled better and quicker.

Did they acknowledge who the member of the public was that made the complaint?
